Panasonic to introduce full new product line for 2008
Spokesperson Mara McFalls introduced Panasonic’s new products for 2008 during a press conference at the CES 2008. Details of the products announced are addressed as below.
The DMP-BD30 Blu-Ray player, with an SD card slot, compatibility with final standard profile 1.2 and BD Live.
TH-46PZ850, a 46-inch full HD plasma television with an SD slot and dual HDMI.
TC-37LZ800, a 37-inch LCD TV with a 10,000:1 contrast ratio.
A 32 GB SHCD memory card, enough to hold more than 5 hours of HD video.
The SC-BT100 home theater in a box, with an integrated iPod dock, SD card slot and Blu-ray player.
The KX-TH1211 “link to cellphone,” which can connect a standard home phone to your cellphone using a bluetooth-equipped base station.
Strada GP50U Global Navigation system, with an SD card slot to watch video equipping with Bluetooth and voice recognition.
The DVD-LS86 Portable DVD player, with an 8.5-inch screen.
HDC-SD9, a HD camcorder with 1920×1080p recording, three CCDs and a Leica Docomar lens. Other new camcorders include the HDC-HS9, the standard-definition SDR-S7, and the SDR-SW20, a water-resistant model,
Finally new Lumix cameras include the DMC-TZ3, which packs a 10x optical zoom into a standard small-style digital camera frame.

Some really cool products there. That 32 gig SD card is unbelievable – makes you wonder just how far they can go with miniaturization. Imagine the kind of stuff we’ll have in 20, 50 or 100 years…
